The information below is based on the HKDSE results of applicants admitted to our programme, whose positions are in the upper quartile, median and lower quartile on the admission list.

Admission with Qualifications other than HKDSE Results |
|
Applicants who meet specific requirements as stipulated by the University for particular qualifications (including GCE-AL, IB, HKALE, associate degree/higher diploma) may apply for “Admission with Advanced Standing”. The minimum number of units for graduation for students admitted with Advanced Standing may be reduced by up to 24 (normative period of study may be reduced by up to one year). |
In-Depth Orientations for Band A JUPAS Applicants |

In order to provide our prospective students with more information about studying in our department, we plan to invite all Band A JUPAS applicants to a series of in-depth orientations in May 2017. Separate talks, to be conducted by expert teachers of the relevant fields, will be offered on the following major areas of study in our department:
Comparative Politics Greater China International Politics Political Theory Public Administration
In these occasions, students will be free to discuss their study plan and academic interest with expert teachers of various fields. Further details will be announced in due course. |
