This course serves to introduce postgraduate students to the fundamental principles of scientific inquiry and major qualitative research methods. Topics to be covered include: conceptual foundation of research in social science, design and structure of political research, and methods for collecting and analyzing qualitative data. Undergraduate students taking this course should first obtain teacher's consent.
