The objective of this course is to help students develop basic working knowledge of quantitative methods in political science. The course has three parts. The first part introduces basic principles of survey research. The second part explains how to use statistical tools to describe political phenomena. The third part discusses how to use statistical techniques to explore causal relationships in political analysis. Students with basic knowledge in quantitative methods preferred.
